He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Schommer (Fuchs) and Edward Schommer; his wife Marilyn; his siblings, Bernard, Leonard, Raymond, Mildred, Lorraine, Betty, Edward (Mike), Margaret Ann and Ronald; and his daughter-in-law Patti Schommer (Burr).
He is survived by: his children, Julie Orth (Kelly), William Schommer (Martha), Marian Hausladen (Ken), Mark Schommer (Mary) and Sharon Blatzheim (Mark); his grandchildren, Amy Hammer (Jeff), Gina Wareham (Dominic), Michael Orth (Jen), Maria Thorstad (Brian), Nicholas Schommer (Amanda), Juliet Leonard (John), Emily Kendall (Isaac), Paul Hausladen (Angelica), Jillian Hendrickson (Ryan), Meghan Lawinger (Brad), Katlyn Haws (Jake), Patrick Schommer (Maria), William Blatzheim (Kristin), Bridget Hauff (Jon) and Brianna Kunkel (Adam); his siblings, Rita Fasbender, Joan Jacobsen and Robert Schommer (Sandy); and his siblings-in-law, Ed Temmers, Ruth Schommer, Shirley Schommer and Darlene Schommer. He is also survived by 41 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
