With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William E. Eastman of Hastings, Minnesota, born in Portage, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 16, 2024 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Eastman and Esther Eastman (Newell); and his sister Barbara Jean Thiede. He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Klappstein (Thomas) of Portage, WI and Tamra Sarnstrom (John) of Buffalo, MN; his grandchildren, Jessica Leahy (Nick), Reece Sarnstrom (Coral) and Brice Sarnstrom; his great grandchildren, Winston Leahy and Sophia Leahy; and his significant other Sue Jansen.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel (3075 Vermillion St, Hastings, MN 55033). A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
