Roland J. Gilbertson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roland J. Gilbertson of Hastings, Minnesota, born in Red Wing, Minnesota, who passed away on November 2, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reynold "Ray" Gilbertson and Annie Gilbertson (Berguson). He is survived by: his wife Katherine "Kay" Brennen; his great grandchildren, Nora, Naomi, Max, Griffin, Julian and Rose; and his sister Bev McIntyre. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (2035 15th St W, Hastings, MN 55003). Due to construction at church, please use the West entrance near Mother Seton Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family for a donation to be made in Ron's memory at a later date. Keep Roland "Ron"'s legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
