It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Raymond A. Gergen Jr. of Hastings, Minnesota, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sr. Gergen and Helen Gergen (Endres); and his siblings, Jim and Genevieve. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Bierman; his children, Shari Madline (Tony), Beth Molitor (John), Stacy Munson (Mike), Greg (Megan) and Lynne Kiefer (Gary); and his siblings, Mary Ellen Angell, Lorraine Suchy, Leon Gergen (Nancy), Joann Bauer, Lois Kieffer (Bob) and Betty Carpenter (Pete). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Ray's family requests memorials to be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Trier or the Parkinson Foundation in his memory.
