He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Brabec and Antoinette Brabec (Lefebvre); his brother Frank Brabec; and his siblings-in-law, Frances Karnick and Rollie Karnick.
He is survived by: his wife Mitzi; his children, Cheri Storkamp (John) and Scott Brabec (Melissa); his grandchildren, Emma Storkamp, Tyson Brabec, Jager Brabec and Leo Brabec; and his siblings-in-law, Ed Karnick, Irma Peine (Todd) and Kathy Karnick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (2035 15th St W, Hastings, MN 55003). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
