With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mardelle M. Holmes of Hastings, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mardelle left this world on January 11, 2025 at the age of 98, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hansen and Anna Hansen (Haase); her husband R. A. "Dick" Holmes; her children, Hugh Holmes and Alice Harris; her sisters, Mickey Huseman and Marjorie Holmes; her son-in-law Kenneth Harris; and her brothers-in-law, Donald Holmes Sr. and Robert Huseman.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Holmes of Zephyrhills, FL; and her grandchildren, Richard Harris of Hastings and Hannah Harris of Coats, MN. She is also survived by five nephews and two nieces.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel (3075 Vermillion St, Hastings, MN 55033).
