The passing of Larry M. Watson of Hastings, Minnesota, born in Willmar, Minnesota leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 23, 2024 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervin Watson and Maxine Watson; and his sister Joan Hanson. He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his daughters, Kelly Schmidt (Wes) of So and Kris Mullins (John) of Cottage Grove; his granddaughters, Ella Mullins (Mullins) and Catherine Schmidt; and his siblings-in-law, Dale Hanson of Arizona, Judy Gravenhof, Pat Grimmius of Worthington, MN and Stan Wood (Karen) of Arizona. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Resurrection United Methodist Church of Hastings (615 15th St W, Hastings, MN 55033). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
