It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan L. Kendall of Hastings, Minnesota, who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mierl Hattemer and Ruth Hattemer (Brock); her husband Lloyd W. "Bill" Kendall; and her siblings, Elliot Hattemer, Marlys Lortscher (Leland) and Janice Peterson (Elroy).

She is survived by: her children, Laurie Lorentz (Steve), Keith Kendall (Lisa), Kathryn Kendall (Craig Parris) and William Kendall (Cynthia); her grandchildren, Jacob Lorentz (Ashleigh), Lucas Lorentz, Will Kendall (Ashley), Hannah Kendall, Lee Rauworth (Cassie), Weston Rauworth (Becca Klingelhutz), Emily Simonsen (Nick) of Josiah, Kendall, Paul Kendall, Ruth Kendall and John Kendall; her great grandchildren, Kendall Lorentz, Karson Lorentz, Kaedyn Lorentz, Kameryn Lorentz, Isabella Kunkel, Liam Lorentz, Aspen Lorentz, Adalynn Rauworth and Samuel Simonsen; and her siblings, Stan Hattemer and Phyllis Morehouse (Ed). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
