He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Turnbull and Rosa Turnbull (Rossen); his wife Betty Callahan; and his brothers, Archie and Roy Turnbull.

He is survived by: his children, Marie A'manda, Donald Turnbull (Barb) and Patric Turnbull; his grandchildren, Christana Kabana (Allan), James Turnbull and John Turnbull; and his great grandchild Hayden Kabana. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
