He was predeceased by: his father Edward Rother; and his niece Abbey Rother. He is survived by: his wife Jackie; his children, Nick (Abby), Addison and Laura (Joe); his grandchildren, Brooke and William; his mother Mary Rother; and his siblings, Gary Rother (Kris), Dale Rother (Julie), Dave Rother, Gordy Rother (Cindy) and Deb Langenfeld (Matt). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (2035 15th St W, Hastings, MN 55003). A reception will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel (3075 Vermillion St, Hastings, MN 55033).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hastings Rotary Foundation to purchase a trishaw bike for the Cycling Without Age program, honoring Dan's commitment to service and community. Keep Dan's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
