He was predeceased by: his parents, John Theis and Loretta Broschofsky; and his siblings, Sister Eileen Theis, Helen Hoheisel, Marie Theis, Cecilia Meyer, Reinhard Theis, Donald Theis, Raymond Theis, Lawrence Theis and Bernard Theis.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Theis; his children, Lucinda Findlay, David Theis (Marie), Deborah Theis (Steve Jones), Karen Knoll (Mike) and Barbara Cobenais (Joe Fuchs); and his siblings, Marian Bleichner, Judith Glafke and Roderick Theis. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (2035 15th St W, Hastings, MN 55033). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (2035 15th St W, Hastings, MN 55033).
