He was predeceased by: his siblings, Edwin Feidt and Katie Kangas. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn; his daughters, Cheryl McCarthy (Bill), Carla Phillips (Bill) and Candace Dingmann; his grandchildren, William McCarthy (Caitlin), Connor McCarthy (Emily), Brennan McCarthy, Matthew Dingmann, Kayla Phillips, Madelyn Dingmann and Meredith Dingmann; his great grandchildren, Bria McCarthy and Rylann McCarthy; and his sister Monica Myers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
