He was predeceased by: his wife Jacquelin Joy Stiernagle; his siblings, Yvonne Evenson (Roger), Darlene Jasperson (Lee), Judy Marks (Lawrence) and Emmett Stiernagle (Marie); his brothers-in-law, Virgil "Junior" Kanatzar, Victor Stensrud (Barb), Richard Howe (Jeannine) and Michel Halbouty; and his parents, Walter Stiernagle and Bridget Marie Stiernagle (Wallace).
He is survived by: his children, Shirley Rose (Steven), Dwayne Stiernagle (Sharon), David Stiernagle (Jacqueline), Denise Meyer (Kenny), Daniel Stiernagle (Kimberly) and Jesse Stiernagle (Hatti); and his siblings, Nancy Becker, Mary Wiltgen (Wayne), Marlene Kanatzar, Karen Jerdin and Richard Stiernagle. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Freeborn Cemetery.
