He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Johnson and Dolores Johnson (Wallraff). He is survived by: his wife Jenell Jwanouskos; his children, James Johnson (June), Sean Johnson and Jill Johnson (Brady); and his grandchildren, Kara, Michael, Emily, Alyssa and Nicholas. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred for a park bench that will be purchased in Grand Marais in his name.
