In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Laurie Jean had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Laurie Jean may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Duane Mathiesen and Dorothy Mathiesen (Mallinger); and her siblings, David Mathiesen and Renee Marable (Cliff). She is survived by: her son Michael Bromwich (Amanda) of Lewis, Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Ethan LaVenture of Elk River and Emily Richter of Elk River; her sister Kelly Ann Hokanson of Rush City; her sister-in-law Lisa Mathiesen of Harris; and her nephews, Chris Mathiesen and Greg Mathiesen. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Olson Funeral Chapel (115 W 4th St, Rush City, MN 55069). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
