With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kermit LeRoy Swanson of Harris, Minnesota, who passed away on October 6, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Swanson and Mildred Swanson (Keiser); his siblings, Eileen, Wendell Swanson (Phyllis), Marlyn Swanson (Margaret), Myron Swanson (Pat), Oren Swanson (Janis) and Harriette Nelson (Elliot); his brother-in-law Arden Nelson; and his great grandchild Cole Good.
He is survived by: his wife Margie; his children, Brenda Isaman (Terrell), Tammy Good (Dan), Rhonda Farr (Wayne), Shane Swanson and Shad Swanson (Aubrey Coe); his grandchildren, Jessica Arrigoni (Joey), Andy Isaman, Tashina Good, Cody Good (Jessalyn), Zach Kermit Good (Bethanna), Shentel Lundeen (Cory), Jennifer Stolt (Nathan), Deon Farr (Brittany), Emily Swanson, Hunter Swanson (Jeanna), Lars Swanson (Jessica), Teagan Swanson, Elly Swanson (Julian) and Maryn Swanson; his siblings, Audrey Nelson, Carolyn Rundle (Cliff), Paul Swanson (Mary Ann) and Gary Swanson (Nancy); and his sister-in-law Val Swanson. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
The highlight of his working career was donating his time working on a firetruck to replace a truck that was lost during 9/11.
