With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John R. Plotz (Harris, Minnesota), who passed away on January 15, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Lucille Plotz; his wife Joan Plotz; and his siblings, Terry Plotz (Dianna), Tom Plotz and Tonda Ashby A. (Jerry).
He is survived by: his significant other Joan Kay; his father Godfrey Plotz; his children, Debie Koneck (John), Mark Plotz (Laurie Ketchum Plotz), Kelli Klein (Dan) and Amy Kleist (Brian); his grandchildren, Ashley Klein (Matthew Holmen), Robert Koneck (Ellen), Jacob Plotz (Lacey), Aaron Plotz (Kalani), Ryan Kleist, Samantha Leverett, Andrew Kleist, Matthew Kleist and Steven Kleist; his great grandchildren, John, Harleigh, Emmett, Brycen, Everly, Wallace, Arthur, Luka and Brooks; and his siblings, Mike Plotz (Betty Leerar Bublitz), Janice Armstrong (Jim), Doug Plotz (Candy) and Tim Plotz.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fish Lake Lutheran Church (43353 Cedarcrest Trail, Harris, MN 55032). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
