He was predeceased by: his wife Roberta "Bobbie" Jo Bazey; his parents, Joseph Bazey and Mae Bazey (Clark); and his siblings, Joseph Bazey, George Bazey, Leonard Bazey, Richard Bazey, Joanne Peterson, Elaine Ostenson and Marie Bazey.

He is survived by: his children, Jeanne Bazey and Joseph Bazey (Sarah); his grandchildren, Jessica Carter (Steve) and Justin Westrum (Ashley); and his great grandchildren, Mataya Carter, Josephine Carter, Madison Naatz and Lucy Westrum. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, sister, brother, and sisters-in-law, cousins, and friends.
