He is survived by: his partner Jackie Diamond of Cambridge; his children, David Peterson (Pam) of Burnsville, John Peterson (Stacie) of North Branch and Theresa Curliss (Darrin) of Oak Grove; his grandchildren, Laura Blomgren (Evan), Kevin Peterson (Jamie Ales), Andrew Peterson, Cynthia Peterson, Thomas Fleming (Lauren), Matthew Fleming and Sarah Fleming; his great grandchildren, Anthony Millett, Laila Peterson, Barrett Fleming and Georgia Fleming; and his sister Darlene Miller (Wayne) of Elk River. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
