He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Gustafson and Eleanor Gustafson of Almelund, MN; his son Kirk; and his brother Darrel. He is survived by: his son Denny; his wife Susan Hawkinson; his children, Kristi Sampson (Doug), Julie Solle (Mike), Jillian Helgeson (Mike) and Kevin Gustafson (LeAnne); and his brothers, Ted (Marlys) and Sheldon (Ruth Ann). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.
