He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ryan and Madeline Ryan (Hauber); his parents-in-law, Warren and Inez Harvey; his children, Sheryl Ryan and Joseph Ryan; his sister Dorothy Ryan; his stepchildren, Roxanne Engle, Rodney Halverson and Ricky Halverson; his grandson Tony Courtney; and his brothers-in-law, Ronald and Norman Harvey.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Harvey; his sons, Terry (Rhonda), Randy (Danette), John (Sue), Mark (Michele) and David (Tracy); his stepdaughter Randeen Wagner (Bryan); his siblings, Gary Ryan of Phoenix, AZ and Sharon Otteson (Richard) of Stewartville, MN; his siblings-in-law, Duane Harvey (late Donna), Marlin Harvey (Cheryl), David Harvey (Linda), Linda Huhe (Gene) and Faye Harvey; and his aunt Eileen Sbiral. He is also survived by 22 grandkids, numerous nieces and nephews.
