He is survived by: his spouse Virginia Ryan; his children, Lisa, Jason (Trina), Jamie and Cory (Laura); his siblings, Dennis (Gayle) and Lynell Shanks; and his parents, Morris Sr. and Lois. He is also survived by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
