She is survived by: her former husband Douglas Wessels; her husband Doug Wessels of Hardwick; her daughter Amy Ptak (Gary) of Sioux Falls; her grandchildren, Ryan, Justin and Keira; her sister Dianne Carlson (Steve) of Luverne; and her parents-in-law, Norman Wessels, Enore Boelman, Gertrude Wessels, Donald Schouwenberg, Lowell Wessels, Iva Elbers (Edwin), Harold Wessels, Theresa Wessels, David Wessels (Beverly) and Vonnie Heckt.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Sioux Falls Ronald McDonald House or the Sanford Luverne Hospice Cottage.
