She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Rachael; her siblings, Theodore "Teddy", James "Jimmy", Richard and Rita Kraus; and her parents, Robert Block and Hertha Block (Langhoff).

She is survived by: her husband Dean Steffensmeier of Mary's Catholic Church; her children, Brian Steffensmeier (Melissa), Amy Sellner (Craig) and Kevin Steffensmeier (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Brendan, Lauren, Bryce, Emily, Brady, Noah, Hailey and Zack; and her siblings, Mary Lou Bonnifield, Roberta Grosam and Rodney "Rocky" Block (Janell).
