She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Scherber and Ida Scherber (Vasseur); and her brothers, LaVerne, Tony and Jim Scherber.
She is survived by: her sons, Doug Schirmers (Fran), Steve Schirmers (Debbie) and Jerry Schirmers; her grandchildren, Sunde Schirmers, Nick Schirmers (Samantha), Keith Schirmers (Annie), Kelli Regenscheid (Greg) and Drew Schirmers (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Lily, Leighton, Gibson, Hailey, Ava, McKayla and Aidan; and her siblings-in-law, Joanne Scherber, Pat Scherber and Harlan Schirmers (Betsy). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Kay belonged to St. Albert Catholic Church in Albertville and to The St. Michael Foundation.
