He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Koecher and Alice Koecher (Strehler); his sister Vernita Oestreich; his brother-in-law Willard Oestreich; his parents-in-law, Waldemar and Caroline Giese; and his brother-in-law Virgil Wagner.
He is survived by: his friend Ron Daluge; his wife Kathy (Kathy); his children, Kevin Koecher (Donna), Darcey Karst (Kevin) and Steven Koecher (Lara); his grandchildren, Tammy Frischmon (Matt), Jenny Clary (Noel), Alyssa Diestelmeier (Ben), David Koecher, Jacob Karst (Lindsey), Kelly Karst and Daniel Koecher (Mari); his great grandchildren, Leah, Michael, Kendall Frischmon, Gabriel, Ariadne, Kinsley Diestelmeier, Lydia, Nora Koecher and Arlyn Clary; and his sisters-in-law, Edie Wagner, Fern Boyer and Leah Wandersee. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church - Hanover (11024 Church St NE, Hanover, MN 55341). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
