He is survived by: his wife Pamela Schaefer of Hancock; his children, Rebecca McMann (Patrick) of Ellington, CT, Michelle Leuthold (Bradley) of Rock Rapids, IA, Timothy Schaefer (Kristin) of Hancock, Daniel Schaefer (Shadow) of Hancock and Elizabeth Kaiser (Ulrich) of Hancock; his grandchildren, Zachry McMann, Ashley Perrine (Isaac), Monica, Mikayla, Brendon, Derek Leuthold, Greta, Remington, Winston, Kate Schaefer, Elena Arnold (Joseph), Esther, Eva and Emery Schaefer; and his great grandchildren, Russell and Wesley Perrine.
