She was predeceased by: her mother-in-law Iris Miller; her brother-in-law Russel Newby; her grandparents, Burkie, Jeanette, Henry and Eva Johnson; and also Pamela Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Julius of Hancock; her children, Justin Miller (Brooke) of Hancock and Nadine Miller of Hancock; her parents, Daryl Johnson of McIntosh and Sandy Johnson of Fergus Falls; her siblings, Carla Rownd (Scot) of Fergus Falls and Ryan Johnson (Becky) of McIntosh; her sisters-in-law, Vera Johnson (Karl) of Lawrenceville, Georgia and Marilyn Newby of Pune, India; and her nieces and nephews, Chris Kunz (Jayde), Natasha Salsbery, Cody Johnson and Austin Johnson. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to be donated to local charities in Marla's name.
