It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Everrett McKown (Hamel, Minnesota), born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on February 1, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira McKown and Virginia McKown (Newport); his sons, Keith and Kraig; and his sister Patricia Meyer.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth McKown (Hedin); his daughter Kari Borgman (Brian); his daughter-in-law Sandy McKown; his grandchildren, Cody McKown, Callie Kenneally (Kirk), Kira Borgman, Maija Borgman, Anders Borgman and Risto Borgman; and his siblings, Nancy Nelson and Dave McKown (Pris). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and their spouses.
Memorials may be made to the Missions Committee of Maple Plain Community Church.
