He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Oelfke and Martha Oelfke (Tanke); his wife Marlene Oelfke; his parents-in-law, Herbert and Meta Rolf; his siblings, Ellen Bergmann (Willard), Esther Michaletz (Harold), Harold Oelfke (Norma), Gilbert Oelfke and Kenneth Oelfke; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Rolf (Betty), Myron Rolf, Curtis Rolf and Linda Ahlfs.
He is survived by: his children, James Oelfke (Jody) of Hamburg, MN and Judith Meyer (Curtis) of Green Isle, MN; his grandchildren, Kristen Simon (Travis), Kort Meyer, Jessica Flygare (Benjamin), Janet Eischens (Matthew), Jacob Oelfke (Ellyn) and Jennifer Oelfke; his great grandchildren, Savannah Flygare, Bryce Flygare, Wren Eischens and Kelvin Simon; and his sisters-in-law, Anna May Oelfke, Stella Oelfke of Shakopee, MN and Many. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Memorials preferred to the Emanuel Lutheran School in Hamburg.
