He was predeceased by: his wife Caryn; his parents, Paul Forton and Barbara Forton; his brother Jim; and his parents-in-law, Eugenia and Robert Rankin.

He is survived by: his daughter Deanna Rollings (Dan); his grandchildren, Catherine and Carson; his siblings, Pat and Dale; and his in-laws, Pat (Mark), Chris (Steve), Nancy and Roy (Nan). He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and many family members and friends.
