With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eljane M. Matheson of Ham Lake, Minnesota, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on May 28, 2023 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Sandberg and Jennie Sandberg (Wanki); and her husband Wilbur Matheson. She is survived by: her children, Jerry Matheson (Sandy) of Arkansas, Karen (Rick), Loren Matheson (Carol) of North Branch, Renee Erickson (Robert) of Linwood and Ron Matheson (Gala) of Champlin; her siblings, Carol Johnson of Motley and Maynard Sandberg of Crystal; her caregiver Sandy; and her friend Sharon Johnson. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren.
