He is survived by: his children, Tracie Mathews (Tony) of Halstad, MN and Jonah Hawkins of Butner, NC; his granddaughters, Harper, Harlee and Hadley; his brothers, David Hawkins (Jann) of Detroit Lakes, MN and Richard Hawkins of Asheville, NC; and his close friend Cynthia Ruiz of Gary, MN. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins; his former wife.
