She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Splichal and Rose Splichal (Dvorak); her husband William "Bill" Karstens; and her parents-in-law, Karl and Erna Kastens.
She is survived by: her son Bruce Karstens (Vickie) of Clearwater, MN; her granddaughter Jennifer Karstens (Jenn Miner-Karstens); her great grandchild Jordy Karstens of Colorado Springs, CO; her grandson Jeremy Karstens of Aberdeen, SD; her son Brad Karstens (Jessica); her grandchildren, Will Karstens and Emerson Karstens of Hendrum, MN; her daughter Lisa McCarty (Pat) of Shorwood, MN; and her brother Donald Splichal (Doris) of Walker, MN. She is also survived by Numerous relatives and friends.
