It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Roger Trandem of Halstad, Minnesota, who passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Duane Roger Trandem to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Orvis Trandem and Alma Trandem (Haugan); his sister Jeroma; and his grandchildren, Maggie, Tate Schilling and Kyle Hennum.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Knudtson; and his daughters, Sandra Hennum (Peter), Kayla (Tyler Montgomery) of Bemidji, MN, Rebecca Faruolo (Charles) of Moorhead, MN, Gabby Faruolo (Parker Nelson) of St. Paul, MN, Patricia Schilling (Greg) of Halstad, MN and Gracie (Seth Ditsch) of Bemidji, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In honor of Duane, memorials can be designated to the Halstad Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund, Halstad Lions, Ethos Hospice at 4491 S Washington Street, Suite A, Grand Forks, ND 58201, or Sanford Foundation ALS Fund at P.O. Box 2010 Fargo, ND 58122 or any charity of your choice.
