She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Freda Simons and Ted Simons; her children, Trish Melin (Bruce) of Waite Park, Marilyn Solie of Richfield, Scott McAllen (Charlene) of Detroit Lakes, Vicki Pieper (Doug) of Pine City, Kelly McAllen (Rachel) of Fargo, Gary McAllen of Maple Grove and Lisa (Nathan) of New Brighton; her husband Mac; and her daughters, Diane and Theresa. She was also cherished by 19 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
