He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Dagen and Mildred Dagen (Pierce); and his siblings, Dale, Donald, Sharynn, Jillayne and Sandy.
He is survived by: his wife Mabel Haglund; his daughters, Debbie Fritz (Robert) of Pembina, ND, Judy Martens (Kevin), Lyla Hancock (John) and Dorie Abrahamson; his siblings, Shelby-Jean Johnson (LaMar) of Kennedy, MN, Derallys Dagen, Lany Dagen and Bernie Dagen; and his stepsister Diane Solem. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
