He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Johnson and Edith Johnson (Kennedy); his siblings, Clare, Almae Henderson and Vivian Hjeldness (Winge); and his great grandchild Elijah Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Spilde; his children, Timothy Johnson (Sue) of Lenore, ID, Suzanne Bowen (Rob) of Bell Buckle, TN, Stephanie Johnson of Grand Forks, ND and Nathan Johnson (Lisa) of Kennedy, MN.; his grandchildren, Andy (Cenone), Adam (Karie), Codie, Jodie, Ben, Melanie, Dustin, Bethaney (Zack), Kelsey (Kole), Lauren (Jake) and Kiersti; and his sisters, Yvonne Schulte and Bernice Wetterlund.
