It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Klegstad of Hallock, Minnesota, who passed away on December 20, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Layhon and Lena Layhon (Krishka) of Pembina, ND.; her siblings, Mike, John, Alex Layhon, Mary Bordeniuk, Sophie Zaharia, Rose Younggren and Barbara Hagen; her siblings-in-law, John Bordeniuk, Mike Zaharia, Gordon Klegstad, Margaret, Vera, Belle Layhon, Marlene Klegstad and Gloria Hackbarth; her daughter Doris; her grandson Tyler Klegstad (Keith); and her sons-in-law, Greg Maloney and Bob Peterson.
She is survived by: her husband Levern Klegstad (Ernie); and her sisters, Doris Heiser (Ray), Annie Bergh (Frank), Helen Weleske (Tom) and Margaret Mattson. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
