He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter O'Keefe and Willo O'Keefe (Fried); and his granddaughter Mary. He is survived by: his significant other Kathy Andert; his son Peter (Christine); his grandchildren, Will, John and Katie; his son Daniel (Laurie); and his grandchildren, Andrew, Oliver, Isaac, Anthony, Edward, Joanna and Maria.

Due to Covid, a private family Mass of Christian burial will be held.
