It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Gerdes of Hackensack, Minnesota, born in Glencoe, Minnesota, who passed away on October 7, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Lawrence and Delores Greiner; and his grandparents, William, Iva Zentner, Lawrence and Lila Gerdes.
He is survived by: his parents, Roger Gerdes and Ruth Gerdes; his wife Pat Greiner of Hancock; his children, Taylor Gerdes (Jocelyn Friskop), Fargo and Anna Parolek (Zach); his granddaughter Harper Ann Parolek; and his siblings, Brad Gerdes (Jo), Jim Gerdes (Lisa) and Sue Schuster (Steve). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Hackensack Game Changers, P.O. Box 435, Hackensack, MN 56452 for the sports courts project.
