With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Byklum of Grygla, Minnesota, born in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on December 31, 2021 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Byklum and Myrtle Byklum (Newhouse); his siblings, Darlene Upton, LaVonne Delaney and Rodney Byklum; his brother-in-law Roger Blaine; his grandson Skyler Nordby; his nephew Aaron Betzen; and his nieces, Bridget and Baby Girl Blaine.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Blaine of Grygla; his daughters, Sheila Olson (Lorne) of Wannaska, MN, Deanna Nordby of Grygla and Karla Byklum of Grygla; his grandchildren, Kasey Nordby (Jacob Nelson) and Braeden Nordby of Grygla; his siblings, JoAnn Hovet of Shawnee, WI, Lois Dodd (Don) of Detroit Lakes, MN and Duane Byklum (Rosalie) of Fargo, ND; and his sisters-in-law, Avis Byklum of Grygla, Gwen Blaine of Goodridge, MN and Holly Betzen (Tim) of Fertile, MN. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
