With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lester Johnson of Grove City, Minnesota, who passed away on November 10, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hjalmer Johnson and Josie Johnson (Mathison); his children, Lane and Nancy; his sister Elaine Piepenburg (Clarence); and his siblings-in-law, Everett Carlson (Marjorie), Dean Anderson and Rosalind Ewald.
He is survived by: his wife Bette Marie Carlson of Grove City; his children, Daren, Clyde Johnson (Annette Schroeder) of Grove City, Cindy Lemm of Lanark, IL and Dawn Johnson of Grove City; his grandchildren, Alex, Max, Danielle, Sam, Morgan, Spencer, Colby, Kayla and Adam; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Schmeiser (Gordon), Verdelle Anderson, Audrey Youngbloom (Warren), Gale Carlson (Candace) and Henry Ewald. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
