He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Behsman and Eileen Behsman (Yess); his wife Joan Behsman (Davidson); his brothers, Jim Behsman (Jane) and Donald Behsman (Louise); and his brother-in-law Norman Mundt.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Dittrich of Courtland, Kurt Behsman (Cindy) of Randall and Lisa Wehking (Jason) of Eagle Bend; his grandchildren, Tyler, Nikki Dittrich, Brandon, Gregory Behsman, Erin and Jared Wehking; and his sister Mary Ann Mundt of Owatonna.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
