She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert, Sr. Guse and Minnie Guse (Sabart); her husband Melvin Asmus; her grandchildren, Lisa Hennen and James Hederman; and her siblings, Willard Guse, Walda Stueck, Richard Guse, Norman Guse and Wilbert, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Hederman (Dan) of Columbia Heights and Karen Hennen (Richard) of Grey Eagle; her grandchildren, Kelly Herold (Chris), Lila Anderson (Rick) and Waylon Hennen (Laura); her great grandchildren, Breanna Hederman, Madison Herold, Bethany Herold, Nicole Bailey, Devon Joarnt and Elizabeth Hennen; her great great grandchildren, Annabelle Bailey, Wyatt Schettler and Michelle Trapp; and her brother Gary Guse (Deborah) of Harris.
