He is survived by: his wife Sue Ahrens of Grey Eagle; his sons, Chris Ahrens (Samantha), Mitchell Ahrens, Tyler Ahrens (Tina Bauer) and Douglas Ahrens; his grandchildren, Amelia, Emmera, Aubrey, Everett, Adaley and Everly Ahrens; his siblings, Deborah Tauer (Joseph), Dale Ahrens (Patsy), Denise Clifton, Dennis Ahrens (Nancy), Donna Ringler and Dan Ahrens (Sara); and his sister-in-law Kathy Von Wahlde.
