He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred "Millie" Muellner; and his siblings, Tony, Adolph, Alfred, Johann, Margarete and Theresa.
He is survived by: his former wife Mildred Heinen; his daughters, Juanita "Nita" Nohner (Bill) of St. Cloud and Jacquelyn "Jackie" Friese of Grey Eagle; his grandson Nicholas McCarney (Kelly); his great grandchildren, Reese and Tyler; his granddaughter Jennifer Johnson (Rick); his great grandchildren, Kali, Emma and Drew; his grandchild Bethanie Friese (Luke Rohde); his great grandchildren, Alexis and Mackenzie; his granddaughter Heidi Krueger (Beau); his great grandchildren, Nyah and Meeli; and his sisters-in-law, Florence Tschida of Grey Eagle and Rita Heinen of Sartell.
