He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wielenberg and Alvina Wielenberg; and his siblings, Hilda Barthel, Hermie and Norbert.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Wielenberg of Grey Eagle; and his children, Jim (Jan) of Mobile, Cindy of Roseville, Mike (Kim) of Roseville and Sue of Roseville. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
