With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter Van Beck of Greenwald, Minnesota, born in Melrose, Minnesota, who passed away on February 20, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Beck and Cecilia Van Beck (Fuchs); his parents-in-law, Victor and Bertha Schoenberg; and his brothers-in-law, Roger Spanier, John Schoenberg, Tom Schwieters and Tom Kaluza.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Van Beck of Greenwald; his children, Marti Van Beck (Audrey) of Padua, Mother Christina Van Beck, Greg Van Beck (Kay) of Greenwald, Chad Van Beck (Brenda), Michael Van Beck (Amy) of New Munich, Cory Van Beck (Erica) of Elrosa and Nathan Van Beck (Heather) of New London; and his siblings, Norma Kaluza of Circle Pines, Vernon Van Beck of Shoreview, Larry Van Beck (Rosie) of Melrose and Ralph Van Beck (Linda) of Melrose. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Sisters of Charity of Baltic, Connecticut or St. Andrew's Parish.
