She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hortsch and Barbara Hortsch (Lange); her brothers, Lambert and Leon; and her daughter Joan Gerads (Glen).
She is survived by: her husband Virgil Marthaler of Greenwald; her children, Mary Barten (Nick) of Bloomington, Carole Weber-Brown of Alexandria, Linda Kociemba (John) of Grey Eagle and Dan Marthaler of Maple Grove; and her brothers, Lawrence and Vern of Milton, WA. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
